Children’s Meals
With the heartfelt desire to enrich children’s lives through food, we have especially developed ‘Children’s Yamaga Cuisine’ for families staying with us at Goshobessho, using locally sourced, authentic ingredients to create a menu that aligns with adult tastes. It is said that a child's first exposure to various ingredients and flavors impacts the development of their palate, and by encountering the freshest local ingredients at Goshobessho, we hope to expand the range of foods they can enjoy, and by doing so, the enjoyment of their lives as they grow older. Perhaps it may even serve as a push to overcome already-established dislikes. We invite you and your family to explore and enjoy Yamaga Cuisine together.
Upper Elementary School Age Children
Revolving around carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture, our traditional Yamaga Cuisine is offered in a ten dish course for adults. For upper elementary school aged children, we have adjusted the course to approximately nine dishes to suit their age and preferences.
Lower Elementary School Age Children
Revolving around carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture, our traditional Yamaga Cuisine is offered in a ten dish course for adults. For lower elementary school aged children, we have adjusted the course to approximately eight dishes to suit their age and preferences.
Under School Age Children
Revolving around carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture, our traditional Yamaga Cuisine is offered in a ten dish course for adults. For children under school age, we have adjusted the course to approximately five dishes to suit their age and preferences.
Flexible adaptation to preferences
While children’s meals often constitute fried foods, sausages and hamburgers, here at Goshobessho we test our skills in making vegetables as pleasant to consume for children as possible, and make it a point to introduce local delights like grilled local fish, sashimi, and Kobe beef “Tajima Guro". Our aim is to offer dishes we truly feel will benefit a child and their enjoyment of life. However, if you feel our concept is not a good fit for your child, we also offer a “Conventional Children's Meal” (centering on udon or fried foods). Please feel free to specify your preference in the comments section when making a reservation.
